VOX V1 Guitar Preamp Cab Sim Pedal

AMT V-1 is a preamp with an internal Clean-to-Low-gain-Overdrive channel and the option to switch to an external channel (such as any auxiliary overdrive effect) using a foot switch. The preamp also features a serial insert loop with a standard -10dB level for connecting auxiliary effects and boosting the effect signal to a standard 0dB level or higher (MASTER VOLUME), which is sufficient for direct operation with a power amplifier. When connected to a mixer, the preamp has a speaker simulator mode, which can be selected using a switch located on the left panel of the device.

AMT Electronics V1 comes with a 12V PS included and provides a built-in power hub to supply 9…12V to an external channel and auxiliary effects. It works well with an overdrive/booster pedal in front of the V-1.

The Clean channel of the AMT V-1 is indicated by the color green, while the Lead external channel is indicated by the color red.

The preamps included in the AMT Legend Amps series deliver excellent playing dynamics characteristic of real tube-based devices and are in no way inferior to them. With a limitation range similar to that of a tube channel, the preamps in the series ensure terrific thickness and power in the resulting sound. When working with AMT Legend Amps preamps, there is no need to cut out the most informative middle frequencies, which provides great readability of your guitar in the sound mix.

Similar to tube preamps, AMT Legend amps provide a gradual increase in the number of limiting stages as the gain grows. The preamps in the series use passive circuits of tone shaping that fully conform to the tone controls used in original tube overdrives.
